Job description
|
The Quality Department manages QA activities in accordance with company procedures and against standards and requirements required by EASA 145/147 and UK CAA through regular audits of the Line Maintenance and Engineering Training School Departments. .
The manager will be responsible for ensuring full compliance of all activities and the procedures required thereof and act as first point of contact for external audits of the various international aviation regulatory authorities for adherence to policies and procedures as required to maintain global standards. .
Managing a small team, the manager will prepare and execute the audit programs of technical, safety and security standards for all operational units and review and revise standards on an ongoing basis. The manager will ensure that the company’s quality system manual is updated and complies with all necessary requirements. .
The successful candidate should be a qualified licensed engineer with certification from EASA and/or UKCAA with at least 12 years experience, 3 of which should be in a managerial role demonstrating a thorough knowledge of QA systems and processes.
