CARGO ACHIEVEMENT 2007   1.  Formula 1 Event April 2007: Where speed and efficiency counts, BAS Cargo proved for the fourth year in row to have the can do it team and equipment.   Gulf Air Grand Prix 2007 was handled smoothly , BAS Cargo handled 1.7 million kilos of F1 Cars and Equipment transported by 15 B747 Freighters and 1 A300 Freighter.   The outstanding performance was highly appreciated and recognized by the Formula One Management and the Logistics Company Bahrain International Cargo Services (BICS) by presenting BAS Cargo with the below plaque. 2.  Gulf Air Award: In recognition of the crucial role that BAS Cargo has exerted to support the National Carrier which has contributed to the rise of the Airline's Cargo business, BAS Cargo has been awarded by Gulf Air Cargo during the Agent's Awards ceremony. 3.  More Freighters (Yes We Can Do): 2006 was a special year for Cargo, Air France started 3 flights a week to Bahrain in November 2006, yet 2007 is a wonderful year, Air France has increased their frequencies to 5 B747 Freighters, Emirates opened Bahrain as Freighter station by scheduling 3 A300 Freighter, Qatar Airway Scheduled A300 Freighter twice weekly and British Airways World Cargo flying B747 Freighters to Bahrain twice weekly.
