BAS participated in the University of Bahrain's Career Day 9 as a silver sponsor. This event was held under the patronage of University President, Dr. Ebrahim Jannahi who inaugurated the event in a ribbon cutting ceremony, attended by University officials and honored guests.  

Prior to the event,  Gopika Beri (Acting Head of Training & Development) briefed selected BAS Stand representatives from various Operational and Human Resources departments with important information regarding the Career Day, the BAS stand and their roles  

BAS representatives led by Gopika Beri included Ahmed Al Koohehji (Team Leader), Aysha Hazim (HR), Sumaiya (Passenger services), Ali Abdul Nabi (Catering) distributed informational brochures, giveaways to students and job seekers with important information about BAS. A short film depicting BAS activities attracted scores of people.  Ali Sulaiman (waiter) served Arabic coffee and sweets to the guests.  

The opening ceremony of Career Day 9 was attended by BAS CEO, Phil Bowell, General Manager Human Resources & Support Services Salman Al Mahmeed, Manager Administration & Benefits Hussain Al Qassimi, Gopika Beri Acting Head of Training & Development, Manager Maintenance Adnan Mohammed , PR Coordinator Haneen Dakheel  etc.
