At a recent ceremony at bas head quarters Tariq Shari (Pax control coordinator) was awarded a certificate of achievement from Cathay pacific after successfully completing the Annual Airport Knowledge test 2008. CEO Phil bowel and MGR passenger service Khalid Saeed stated "this is an achievement the company takes pride in and appreciates, we congratulate you on your achievement and we hope others set you up as an example for them to look up to, the best way to excel is by leading your team to achieve what you have achieved.  we only create the opportunity and you make it happen".  Shawqi Akbari (Airport Manager) and Waleed Khalid ( Airport Supervisor) congratulated Tariq and stated " its an honor for us to come and deliver your achievement certificate to you, well done".
 

Tariq also attended a Train the Trainer workshop in Bangkok last October for two days,  just to upgrade his skills and knowledge.
