Dilmun Lounge won the "Lounge of the Year MIDDLE EAST/AFRICA REGION" AWARD
 


The DILMUN LOUNGE at Bahrain International Airport (operated by Bahrain Airport Services) has won the "Lounge of the Year MIDDLE EAST/AFRICA REGION" award in the Priority Pass Lounge of the Year 2009 awards.
 
This year is the 4th year running that the Dilmun Lounge has won an award, which acknowledges the high standard of customer service and satisfaction that the Lounge continues to provide to its customers.
 
The Dilmun lounge is one of only 15 lounges worldwide to win an award (out of well over 600 lounges in the Priority Pass Lounge programme). The members of Priority Pass throughout the world have been asked to rate the lounges. The members are frequent travellers and their views are valued and based on extensive experience of airport lounges. The voters are discerning passengers who expect to receive a high level of service, comfort and facilities when they travel and their vote confirms the exceptionally high standards that the Dilmun lounge has achieved for the 4th year running.

The award is particularly prized because it is voted for by the users of the lounge and gives a true reflection of the high standards that have been achieved, as well as the high level of facilities and the quality of customer service.
 
His Highness SH. Ali bin Khalifa Al Kahlifa (Deputy prime minister) received the award presented by (BAS Chairmen) Fawzi Kanoo, present in the ceremony Phil bowel (BAS CEO), Jalal Mohammed (BAS Director), , Joan Fidler (Lounge Manager), AbdulRahman Al Gauod (Undersecretary, CAA) and Salman AlMahmeed ( BAS Deputy CEO).
 
H.H SH. Ali Bin Khalifa Al Khalifa praised the lounge and BAS team, encouraging them to keep up the excellent work and to continue this success, H.H stated, winning the award for the fourth year is not easy and it means the lounge team led by Joan Fidler is doing a tremendous job maintaining the lounge at such high standards, we thank them for all their dedication and efforts for the award, it is a great advertisement for Bahrain International Airport as well as the Kingdom of Bahrain.
