The Board of Directors of the Bahrain Airport Services (BAS) has appointed Salman Al-Mahmeed to the position of Deputy Chief Executive Officer.

Prior to this recent promotion, Salman held several top managerial positions within BAS, the most recent of which were the offices of Senior Manager and General Manager of Human Resources & Support Services. Concurrently, Salman held the position of Chief Executive Officer in an acting capacity.

 Throughout his human resources responsibilities, Salman has given special attention to training and developing BAS Bahraini employees and to promoting them to positions of greater responsibility. Supervisory and management training was a focus of his attention. He strived to improve employment conditions and to minimize the gap between higher and lower grade positions. A significant achievement of Salman was his success in creating constructive relationship between Management and the Company's trade union.

He comes to his new position with several years of experience and knowledge. Ever since he joined the Company, Salman has been an effective member of the Executive Management team.
