A. Karim Al Mutawa was nominated as Bahrain Airport Services Employee of the Month, October 2009. He has been with the security department since 1^st July 2007. His role in the section is that of Security Guard.

In recent months A. Karim has been deployed on Anti Pilferage duties in response to an increase in reported incidents of baggage pilferage. This role has involved a small group of staff covering all shifts and all duties in preventing this type of incident taking place but also in the investigation and detection of such crimes.

On many occasions the staff is left on their own and conducts the duties as required being under their own supervision and control.

A. Karim has excelled in this sphere of operations resulting in two emails of appreciation being received from airlines. More recently A. Karim was involved in a case that resulted in the capture of two staff eating and stealing produce inside the hold of the aircraft.

A. Karim has proven himself to be a professional individual who can be relied upon to work without supervision and under difficult conditions.
