BAS Maintenance department has designed and manufactured a
Hommus machine. The new machine produces much better quality
Hommous and consumes less time. The quantity is increased
from 15 to 25 kg and the time reduced from 20 to 10 minutes.
The idea came when full study was carried out by Adnan
Mohammed (Manager Property Maintenance) on the old machine
and he discovered that the product needs high speed machine
which can create centrifugal force to have the product in
better quality. The new machine is running at a speed of
1700 revolutions per minutes. It is a really very good
achievement for BAS.
Staff who worked on the project:-
 Adnan Mohammed MPM design and supervise the project, Abdulla
Al Aradi (maintenance supervisor) carried all electrical
wiring with the help of Mr. Ali Ahmed electrical tech,
Jaffar A Razaq (general foreman) carried all stainless steel
body structure fabrication, Mohammed Abdulla (engineering
workshop foreman). Madathil Aravidakshan machines.
