BAS training boost for 23 INDUSTRIAL TRAINEES

Twenty-three industrial trainees from Shaikh Khalifa Institute have been welcomed by Bahrain Airport Services (BAS) for work experience.

"BAS is proud of its commitment and contribution in providing industrial training to the nationals," said BAS acting chief executive Salman Al Mahmeed after a corporate induction for the trainees.
"These trainees are given the opportunity to explore their first job experience, usually for a period of two months, in various BAS departments with a view to assist them in selecting their academic and career path," he added.
This year 96 industrial trainees from the University of Bahrain, Education Ministry, BTI and Labour Ministry have been given the opportunity to gain new knowledge and skills in different departments at BAS and as a result, 19,880 industrial training hours have been achieved from January till mid-September this year.
